WUSB is Long Island's largest non-commercial, free-form radio station.
WUSB is one of the largest stations in the country.
All WUSB staff are volunteers.
WUSB airs a very broad, eclectic range of music.
At various times you can hear shows featuring Jazz, Blues, Polka, Classical,
Punk, Pop, Hardcore, Techno,
Trance, Hip Hop, Reggae, Folk, Funk, World Music, Tribal, Noise, Industrial,
Brit Pop, Rock,
Electronica, Gospel, Soul, and many various news, talk, and commentary shows.
WUSB can be heard at 90.1 FM on most of Long Island and Southern Connecticut,
parts of NYC (Brooklyn and
Queens), and parts of Westchester County. It can also be heard on the University
at Stony Brook's
cable channel 10, and over the internet.
