If you want to be played on Chartreuse
Translucent then you can send me your music.
Please DO NOT send me any rock or hip-hop or country etc.
Only send me stuff if it fits in with what I already play - otherwise you
are just wasting your time and mine.
So, electro, synthpop, gothic, darkwave, industrial etc. is all good.
(hint: if you haven't heard of at least 1/4 of the bands I play then it is
quite likely that we don't have similar tastes)
Your best bet is to actually send me a CD. Downloading is
great, but I rarely have the time to check my email,
let alone taking a chance downloading some band I've never heard of. I listen
to every CD I receive; so
chances are that if your music is even remotely like that which I already
play, you'll get on the air.
I'm nice :) I give all relevant bands a chance to be heard.
There just isn't enough air-time for me to play other genres (and if you think
that that is closed-minded, fine. But
if you think that everything I play on my show sounds the same, or that there
isn't enough variety within the music
I listen to, then you have obviously never listened to my show or any of the
music I play.)
So either open up your ears or shut your mouth!
(Does Suicide Commando really sound just like Depeche Mode? answer: NO!
And neither does 3/4 of the other music I play on the show. So Pooh-Pooh on
you!)
